Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and professional Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our healthcare team. As an RGN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care within hospital, nursing home, and clinical settings. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to support patients' recovery, promote wellbeing, and maintain the highest standards of clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Assess, monitor, and accurately document patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications safely in accordance with NMC guidelines and prescribed treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations and clinical procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication, and ongoing health management.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and emergencies.
- Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Valid NMC Registration (PIN).
- Minimum 6 months of UK nursing experience in a hospital, care home, or clinical setting.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be registered with the DBS Update Service).
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- Up-to-date Practical/Mandatory Training Certificates (including Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Infection Prevention & Control, Safeguarding, Fire Safety, and other relevant mandatory training).
- Two satisfactory professional references covering 3 years of employment.
- Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
