Radiance B2B is a growing UK beauty and personal care distributor, supplying retailers, pharmacies, salons and wholesalers across the UK and Europe.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced International Procurement Specialist to assist with sourcing and procurement across our beauty and personal care portfolio.
This is a commercially focused buying role. We're looking for someone who can actively identify new supply opportunities, build strong international supplier relationships and negotiate competitive deals that support our continued growth.
The Role
You will be responsible for sourcing beauty and personal care products internationally, developing our supplier network and identifying commercially attractive buying opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and onboarding new international suppliers, distributors and brands
- Sourcing new beauty and personal care products and ranges
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Negotiating pricing, MOQs, payment terms and commercial agreements
- Reviewing supplier price lists and identifying profitable buying opportunities
- Analysing product costs, margins and overall commercial viability
- Conducting supplier due diligence and verifying the legitimacy of supply chains
- Working with the wider team to determine purchasing quantities based on demand, sales and stock levels
- Monitoring supplier performance, availability and lead times
- Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing terms and profitability
- Attending supplier meetings, trade shows and industry events where required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience within buying, procurement or sourcing
- Experience within beauty, personal care, skincare, cosmetics, haircare or a closely related category
- Experience with parallel imports and international sourcing within beauty, cosmetics, personal care or FMCG
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Experience carrying out supplier due diligence
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills
- Good understanding of margins, product costs and commercial viability
- Excellent communication and supplier relationship-building skills
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple suppliers and purchasing opportunities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Desirable:
- An existing supplier network within the beauty and personal care industry
- Experience sourcing from Asia, Europe and/or the US
- Experience working within a distributor, wholesaler or importer
- Experience attending international trade shows and sourcing events
What We Offer
- £36,000–£45,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Discretionary performance-related bonus
- Primarily remote working, with travel to our Blackburn office approximately once per month
