In this role, you will be the first line of defense, maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and detect suspicious behavior.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform regular patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and surveillance logs to ensure thorough documentation.
- Assist in emergency preparedness drills and ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail in identifying irregularities or safety concerns.
- Good communication skills to effectively report incidents and collaborate with team members and emergency responders.
- Ability to stand, walk, for extended periods as required during patrols or monitoring shifts.
