Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using cash or card
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with stock control procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
