Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to oversee daily operations within our restaurant or hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during your shift to ensure efficient food preparation, cooking, serving, and overall service delivery.
- Lead by example in food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and are delivered promptly to guests.
- Support team members with food preparation tasks, including cooking and assembling menu items as needed.
- Manage guest interactions to ensure satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with stock replenishment and ordering when necessary.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and motivation to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Experience in food safety protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving procedures and kitchen workflows.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated commitment to hospitality excellence and customer service.
