This is a full-time RVN position based primarily at the hospital, with occasional support across other local branches if needed. You’ll be involved in a mix of first opinion and referral work, including medical and surgical cases, advanced diagnostics, and rehabilitation.
Working Hours & Rota
- 4-day week (40 hours total)
- 10-hour shifts: typically between 7:30am – 7:30pm (various start times)
- 1-hour lunch break
- 1 in 7 weekends + bank holidays, with 2 days off in lieu
- No out-of-hours, apart from very rare backup support to the emergency team
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting consultations, surgery, and inpatient care
- Assisting with emergency and referral cases
- Working across a well-equipped hospital environment
- Collaborating closely with vets, nurses, and support teams
- Delivering high standards of patient and client care
About You
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS)
- Full driving licence required
- Team-focused, with strong communication skills
