Imagine Cruising is looking for a strategic and visionary Head of Product to lead our USA Product team, to drive the vision and execution of the company’s product development strategy. The role involves a deep understanding of product creation, delivery and performance of existing and innovative product categories that meet market needs and drive business growth.
Job Purpose
- Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy in alignment with the company goals.
- Identify market opportunities and define product positioning to achieve competitive advantage, using negotiation skills and data to create value add product propositions
- Create a product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables.
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and developers.
- Deliver a collaborative culture within the product team.
- Manage the full product development life cycle from concept to launch in line with company expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, marketing, sales and contracting to ensure alignment and synergy in commercial activities.
- Report on product performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Responsible for delivering the overall product margin required in the budget
- Maintain current and create new partnerships with external suppliers.
Qualifications/ skills/ experience / knowledge
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with a track record of driving commercial success and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Experience in managing a high-performing team and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Passion for the travel industry and a customer-centric approach to business.
- Strong travel background with a solid proven track record
