Overview
We are seeking a motivated Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children aged 4-11, providing engaging and supportive care between the hours of 3pm-6pm. If you are energetic, caring, and passionate about child development, this position is perfect for you! You will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children during their out-of-school hours.
Duties
- Supervise children during after school sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collect children from their classrooms.
- Organise and facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, creativity, and developing their physical and emotional learning.
- Support children with homework or educational tasks as needed.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children’s confidence and independence.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and colleagues regarding children's progress or any concerns.
- Preparing snacks for children.
- Assist with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and transition between activities.
- Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to our safeguarding policies and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in childcare, nannying, teaching, or similar roles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to supporting children's needs

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
