Information Systems Services (ISS) is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Business Relationship Manager (Global) to join our Customer, Strategy and Governance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the University's partnerships with our international partner campuses. As a key link between ISS, senior stakeholders, and partner campus IT teams, you will help ensure that digital services are aligned to business priorities, deliver excellent customer experiences, and support the University's global ambitions.
About the Role
The Business Relationship Manager (Global) is responsible for building and managing strategic relationships between ISS and our international partner campuses. You will lead service reviews, facilitate open and transparent communication, identify opportunities for service improvement, operate with cultural intelligence and help ensure technology services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, service managers, project teams, and partner campus IT colleagues, you will:
Lead regular service reviews and drive continual service improvement initiatives.
Act as the primary liaison between ISS and partner campuses, managing communications, escalations, opportunities, and service issues.
Support strategic planning and help prioritise digital developments and service enhancements.
Develop compelling business cases focused on business value and customer outcomes.
Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across projects and services.
Champion service excellence and a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Support stakeholders in understanding how digital technologies can add value to their business objectives.
The role is primarily based on the Lancaster University Bailrigg campus, with flexible hybrid working options to support a positive work-life balance. We would expect a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
