Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SSSTS Painter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting work on construction sites, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction painting to contribute to diverse projects and develop their skills further.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting
- Moving young man boards across areas required
- Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding and other equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project duration
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks

Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of different paints and finishes
- Valid SSSTS certification or equivalent health & safety qualification
- Driving licence is essential for site access and transportation of materials
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
Pay: £21.00-£23.37 per hour
