We are currently seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee and manage industrial projects including rope access teams working on mechanical and industrial scopes at site in Barrow-in-Furness.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual with strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of industrial operations, and experience managing multidisciplinary site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate industrial rope access teams on site.
- Plan, organise, and oversee daily project activities.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, site management, and subcontractors.
- Monitor productivity, progress, and project performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Manage workforce allocation, materials, and equipment requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Site Operations Manager or similar management role.
- Background in Mechanical and/or Industrial projects.
- Experience managing industrial projects including rope access operations.
- Current SC Clearance (or ability to maintain clearance).
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Previous experience working for industrial service providers
- Previous experience working with rope access teams.
- Experience working within industrial environments.
