Responsibilities
- Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals gain access
- Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity in real-time
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
- Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies, following proper protocols and procedures
- Enforce venue policies consistently, addressing unruly behavior or violations with professionalism and tact
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor counts, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with emergency responders if incidents escalate or require additional support
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and misconduct
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and decisive in high-pressure situations
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel
- Vigilant observation skills with an eye for detail during patrols and inspections
- Basic understanding of security procedures, including emergency response protocols
