Purpose and Scope

Duties and Responsibilities
This is a flexible role, moving between different areas of Logistics but including:
· Unloading and loading of deliveries.
· Issuing of goods using our business software system.
· Packing and preparing goods for forward shipment, ensuring that all orders are picked, packed and despatched in an accurate and timely manner.
· Inventory checking and reconciliation.
· Maintain accurate records of all goods received and despatch.
· Undertaking and organising of the Kitting process (assembling components required for Production)
Requirements for the Role
Qualifications and experience
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Previous experience with a similar role (or elements of role)
· Flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks.
· Current Counterbalance fork truck license (or willing to undertake training)
· Experience with 123 is desirable, however training can be provided
· Good attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
Knowledge and technical skills
· Ability and willingness to learn
Other requirements
· The working pattern for the role will be Monday to Friday 09:30 to 17:30 (in line with the needs of the business and enabling next day delivery cut off to meet customer demand)
