Duty Manager – Luxury Wellness Retreat – Essex – Part-time – Live In
A part-time Duty Manager is required for a beautiful luxury wellness retreat set within peaceful countryside surroundings.

This elegant property offers guests a tranquil escape, combining stylish accommodation, wellness facilities and attentive hospitality within a serene rural environment.
Guests visit to unwind, recharge and enjoy exceptional service, and the retreat has built an excellent reputation for delivering a warm, personalised guest experience from arrival through to departure.
The role can be offered as 3 or 4 days a week between Monday and Sunday, with either 27 hours or 36 hours per week on offer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to play an important role in the day-to-day running of the retreat, supporting multiple departments and ensuring guests receive a consistently high standard of service.
You will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and possess experience supervising or supporting a team, with a background in customer-facing hospitality roles.
You will be confident dealing with guest enquiries and complaints, have excellent organisational and decision-making skills and be comfortable using hospitality IT systems and Microsoft Office.
As Duty Manager you will:
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the retreat across all departments
- Support the front-of-house team with reservations and guest enquiries
- Oversee the guest journey from booking through to departure
- Lead by example to ensure excellent service standards are maintained
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues confidently and professionally
- Assist in supervising and motivating the team during your shift
- Ensure smooth communication between departments
Due to the rural location of the property, a full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.
