Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Renderer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying render to various building surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets safety and aesthetic standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in masonry, carpentry, or related trades to develop their skills further within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary
- Mix and apply render using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Ensure even application of render to achieve the desired finish and texture
- Use bricklaying, masonry, and roofing techniques as required for specific projects
- Operate welding equipment safely when required for structural repairs or enhancements
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Inspect completed work for defects or inconsistencies and rectify as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in rendering, bricklaying, or masonry work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, and general construction practices is advantageous
- Previous experience working with specialised materials or finishes is a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions effectively
