Goldcrest Cleaning Services is a well-established cleaning and building maintenance company based in Waterlooville. We support commercial clients across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex and we’ve built a loyal customer base thanks to the high standards and commitment of our cleaning teams.
We’re now looking for a reliable, detail-focused Cleaner to join our team at a well-respected school in Fernhurst (near Haslemere).
The Hours
Monday to Friday
17:00 – 19:00 (some flexibility available – can be discussed)
Plus an extra 30 minutes on one evening per week
Total: 10.5 hours per week
Term-time only, with overtime available/expected during half terms for planned deep cleaning.
The Role
You’ll be part of a friendly team providing daily cleaning in a busy school environment. You’ll be responsible for your own designated area, which may include:
- Classrooms
- Offices
- Toilets and washrooms
- Communal areas within your section
You’ll have your own cleaning trolley and all supplies provided, so you have everything you need to do the job properly.
Deep Cleaning (Half Terms / Holidays)
During school holidays there will be organised deep cleaning work (typically 1–2 days per holiday period). This will be planned in advance and discussed in detail with the successful candidate.
Training & Support
At Goldcrest, we invest in our staff. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support, and we provide the right equipment and products for the job.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but if you have the right attitude and standards, we can train you.
DBS Requirement
Because this role is within a school, the successful candidate must complete an Enhanced DBS check and relevant pre-employment checks.
