The Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys interacting with people, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional manner.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room allocations.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
- Resolve guest queries and complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Good computer skills and confidence using booking or property management systems.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
