Role: Procurement Manager
Location: Stoke
Contract: Temporary
Rate: £400 - £450 p/d
Castlefield are currently partnering with a Public Sector organisation in Staffordshire to recruit an Interim Procurement Manager.
The Role:
- Lead procurement activity across all category areas
- Lead on large-scale procurement programmes
- End-to-end tendering
- Ensure value for money, achieve social value targets and comply with relevant legislation
- Provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on market trends, supplier capacity and regulatory changes
- Manage supplier relationships
- Lead complex contract negotiations
- Perform regular market analysis and benchmarking activities
The Person:
- Direct category experience in a relevant area
- Strong track record in category management and strategic sourcing
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Evidence of strategic procurement delivery
- Staff management experience
Pay: £400.00-£450.00 per day
Work Location: Hybrid remote in City of Stoke-on-Trent ST4 2DF
