We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children in our care. It is a zero hour contract
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain an organised setting conducive to learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall quality of care and education provided.
- Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and well-being within the nursery setting.
Requirements
ONLY QUALIFIED LEVEL 3
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential.
- Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or educational environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering children's development.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the nursery environment.
