TD Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join our client, a well-established waste and recycling company operating across the Bristol area

The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for driving a refuse collection vehicle and collecting household waste and recycling from residential areas. You will work alongside a team of loaders to complete daily collection rounds safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned residential routes.
- Collecting household waste, including black bins, mixed recycling, and other domestic waste streams.
- Working closely with loaders to ensure collections are completed safely and on schedule.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues promptly.
- Completing all required paperwork and following company procedures.
- Adhering to all road traffic regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to members of the public.
Requirements
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving refuse collection vehicles or similar HGV Class 2 vehicles is preferred.
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
