We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at St Mary’s Student Accommodation in Newcastle. You will play a vital role in ensuring our living spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming for students throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise communal areas including kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and lounges.
- Carry out regular room inspections and deep cleaning where necessary.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with building policies.
- Replenish cleaning materials and report low supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to the management team.
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Respectful, trustworthy, and committed to creating a positive environment for our student residents.
