Being a Programme Assistant for the National Trust is all about people – connecting with them, inspiring them, and making sure they have the best possible day when they come to visit.
You'll assist in the delivery and development of a programme of activities and events across the portfolio. The programme will celebrate each properties unique characteristics and Spirit of Place to create meaningful connections with our visitors each time they visit. You'll ensure the property provides an enjoyable visitor experience, consistently exceeding visitors’ expectations. You may also be involved in outreach engagement activities and events.
Salary: £10,335.00 per annum
Contract/duration: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: 15 hours per week. You'll be working Wednesdays and likely a weekend day. There will be flexibility around shifts and times.

What it's like to work here:You’ll be part of the broader Visitor Experience Team working as part of a fun and collaborative property team covering sites in Worcestershire, including Hanbury Hall and The Greyfriars to deliver great experiences to our visitors through joined up service provision.

What you'll be doing:Working within the Visitor Experience team, you'll help with the creation and delivery of events and activities that bring our properties to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll help deliver high standards of presentation to ensure that our day-to-day visitor experience is in tip-top condition to ensure visitors have the best visit possible.
You will work alongside and support volunteers and delivery partners to bring our experiences to life to grow audiences and broaden appeal. You’ll likely to be checking standards of presentation on site and support the evaluation of visitor programming to continuously improve service and experiences across the portfolio.
