Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Bar Staff member to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the till system
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good understanding of basic maths for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service excellence
- Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol legally
