We are seeking a compassionate, proactive and highly organised Attendance Officer to join our Inclusion team for a fixed term 1 year maternity cover.
This is a key role focused on improving attendance, strengthening family engagement, and ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing remain central to our attendance strategy. You will work closely with students, families, school staff, external agencies and local authorities to reduce barriers to education and promote positive outcomes.
Main purpose of the role:

To oversee and monitor the attendance and punctuality of all students
- To ensure all data held is accurately recorded and providing daily analysis
- To provide a wide and varied range of attendance admin support across the Academy
This is a fast-paced but highly rewarding role and is perfect if you are looking for experience of a school based role. The successful candidate will work closely with our Attendance Welfare Officer, supporting off-site visits provide a comprehensive administrative service within the academy, supporting students, staff and parents where appropriate.
This is a busy and varied position, so candidates must be well organised and adaptable.

Previous experience in a school office environment would be advantageous but not essential.
