Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Officer who will be responsible for overseeing financial aspects of the company.
In this role, you will support the existing Finance Team by handling daily financial tasks, preparing reports, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance. Key responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, sales order processing, sales invoicing, bank reconciliations, statement reconciliations and other admin tasks. The role also requires strong numerical skills, proficiency with Excel and accounting software, attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing AP invoices, checking to PO’s, managing queries and effect resolution
- Statement reconciliations to ledger and chasing for missing invoices
- Chasing credit card receipts / invoices
- Sales processing and sales invoicing in Xero to agreed customer criteria
- Administration of supplier payment runs and payment through the bank
- Trade card management, hire list management, new company set ups
- Providing financial support to other departments
- Other Finance tasks that are required
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is a must.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial software, Xero.
Excellent numeracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyse financial data.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
