Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organising stock and sanitising surfaces regularly.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Provide friendly and attentive service, engaging with guests to enhance their overall experience.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including responsible alcohol service.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
