Temp All Staffing is seeking an experienced and registered Senior Social Worker to join our client's team. You will provide statutory social work services to vulnerable individuals and families, focusing on protection, prevention, and safeguarding. As a Social Worker III, you will manage a complex, high-risk caseload, work within multi-agency settings, and provide professional support and mentoring to junior practitioners.Key Accountabilities
- Case Management: Manage a varied, complex, and high-risk caseload autonomously.
- Assessments: Undertake need and risk assessments for individuals in persistent risk situations.
- Safeguarding: Lead statutory safeguarding enquiries and multi-agency risk management meetings.
- Care Planning: Create and deliver strengths-based, outcome-focused support plans.
- Mentorship: Provide professional guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues and ASYE students.
- Collaboration: Build strong, person-centred relationships with service users, advocates, and multi-agency partners.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, auditable case files in line with statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree or post-graduate qualification in Social Work (CSS, CQSW, Dip SW).
- Registration: Active registration with Social Work England.
- Experience: Substantial experience managing complex caseloads and statutory assessments.
- Skills: Strong critical analysis, risk evaluation, and empathetic communication skills.
- Specialisms: Additional qualifications (e.g., Best Interest Assessor, Practice Educator) are highly desirable.
