The Witchery by the Castle, one of Scotland's most iconic dining destinations, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join its dedicated team.
Set within a collection of historic buildings dating back to 1595, at the gates of Edinburgh Castle, The Witchery is renowned for its dramatic interiors, candlelit atmosphere, and legendary hospitality. With richly decorated dining rooms and nine theatrical suites, it has become one of the most celebrated restaurant-with-rooms experiences in Scotland, attracting guests from around the world.
Our package includes:
- The on-target earning potential for this role is £36,040 per annum, comprising a base salary of £13.00 per hour (based on 40 hours per week; £27,040 per annum), plus a substantial share of staff gratuities estimated at £9,000 per annum (paid weekly).
- Full-time permanent contract, 40 hours per week
- 28 days' holiday, rising to 32 days after 5 years' service
- Paid training and paid shift breaks

While similar experience is beneficial, we provide extensive training and support to help you develop your skills within a nurturing environment.
Candidates should have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
