Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.
- Lead, supervise and motivate restaurant staff, including staff rotas, training and performance management.
- Oversee food quality, service standards, food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance.
- Manage stock levels, purchasing, supplier coordination and wastage control.
- Monitor daily sales, costs, cash handling and overall restaurant performance.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Coordinate kitchen and front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain accurate operational records and report performance, staffing and operational matters to senior management.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant or management role.
- Proven experience managing and supervising restaurant staff and daily operations.
- Experience with staff rotas, training, stock control and supplier management.
- Experience monitoring sales, costs, wastage and overall restaurant performance.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Experience delivering high standards of customer service and resolving customer complaints.
- Ability to lead a team, manage operational challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
