Job Summary
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our Events team at Stadium MK. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our ballroom, meeting rooms and event spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working as part of our facilities team, you will help create a welcoming environment for guests attending conferences, meetings, exhibitions and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare ballrooms, meeting rooms and associated event areas to a consistently high standard
- Use arange of cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Complete all cleaning tasks within agreed timescales and in line with the planned cleaning schedule
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety, hygiene and company procedures
- Report anymaintenance issues, hazards or damage to the appropriate manager
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, presentation and housekeeping standards throughout all assigned areas
- Work independently when required whilst also supporting colleagues as part of the wider team
- Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service when interacting with guests, visitors and colleagues
- Beflexible in supporting operational requirements across the department as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, but not essential
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- A motivated, reliable and committed approach to your work
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Calm and efficient under pressure, with the ability to manage work load effectively
- A flexible attitude towards working hours, including evenings, weekends and event days where required
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals (training will be provided where necessary)

This role involves regular standing, walking, bending, lifting and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. You will be expected to work flexibly to support the operational needs of the business, including weekends, bank holidays and event days.
