Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated waitress to join our day time staff team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of the bar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A passion for guest services with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
- Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation is a plus.
