Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Free Range poultry worker. This role will support the Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our modern Free Range Poultry farm. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for agriculture, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with best practices. This role requires effective communication and the ability to work within a small diverse team, fostering a positive work environment while achieving production goals to a timely and high standard.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity in task assignments and expectations.
- Monitor bird health and productivity, implementing necessary measures for improvement.
- Maintain records of farm activities.
- Operate modern egg packing equipment.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing productivity and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the farm.
Experience
- Proven experience in a an agricultural setting or related field is desired however this is a perfect entry level position.
- Strong team skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
- Excellent leadership qualities, demonstrating the capacity to inspire others towards achieving common goals.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
