We're an established online retail business looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our small team running day-to-day warehouse operations. This would suit a school leaver (18+) wanting a stable first full-time job, or someone looking for a fresh start in a new type of work — full training and support is given either way.
No previous warehouse experience needed — we'll train you fully on our systems. What matters most is speed, punctuality, and being careful with detail — we work to strict same-day dispatch deadlines, so a fast pace is essential once trained.
The 7am start is essential, as overnight orders need processing first thing each morning.
What you'll be doing:
- Picking and packing customer orders quickly using our easy-to-learn scanning system, working to same-day dispatch deadlines (all orders placed by 2pm must be shipped by 3pm)
- Receiving pallet deliveries and checking stock against supplier invoices, line by line
- Flagging any shortages, damage, or discrepancies
- Keeping the warehouse organised and stock easy to find
What we're looking for:
- Punctual and reliable — able to consistently start at 7am
- Fast-paced and able to work to tight daily deadlines, without cutting corners
- Careful and accurate, especially when checking deliveries
- No experience required — just a good attitude, speed, and attention to detail
