Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Gardener/Handyman/woman to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. You must have experience in gardening, landscape maintenance, and general handyman tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors, applying horticultural knowledge and hands-on experience to create beautiful and functional environments. Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas through planting, pruning, weeding, and fertilising
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Perform general handyman duties such as repairs, painting, and small construction tasks
- Assist with landscape design projects and implement planting schemes
- Ensure outdoor spaces are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times
- Monitor plant health and growth, applying horticultural best practices
- Maintain equipment including cleaning, servicing, and storing tools properly
- Follow safety procedures when handling equipment or working with potentially hazardous materials
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for gardening and maintenance tasks
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Growing experience with plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers
- Strong knowledge of gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, pruning, and bending
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of outdoor presentation
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments

Pay: £13.00-£13.90 per hour
