What Is The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Collection & Takedown Assistant to join our growing team at Events Hype Squad Ltd.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in being organised and is happy working evenings and weekends. You’ll be responsible for dismantling our event décor once an event has finished, carefully packing everything away and delivering it safely to our home base.
No previous event décor experience is required – we’ll provide full training. What matters most is that you’re dependable, careful with equipment and have a positive attitude.
What you’ll be doing:
- Arriving at venues at the agreed collection time.
- Dismantling event décor, including balloon displays, backdrops, frames, table décor and styling items.
- Carefully packing all equipment into the vehicle.
- Checking that nothing has been left behind.
- Taking a few photos once everything has been packed.
- Delivering all items safely to our home base after the event.
- Reporting any damaged or missing items immediately.
- Representing Events Hype Squad Ltd professionally when dealing with venue staff.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Trustworthy and respectful of company equipment.
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving event equipment.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure and able to work independently.
- Friendly and professional.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to a suitable vehicle large enough to transport event décor (preferred).
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Able to travel to venues across London and surrounding areas.
Pay:
- From £40 per collection, with higher rates available for larger or late-night events.
- Travel expenses reimbursed where applicable.
Pay: From £40.00 per hour
