Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a proactive approach, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in diverse environments. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct system inspections to identify faults or potential issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing fixtures and heating units as required.
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely to ensure smooth project progression.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for each job.
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service within scheduled timeframes.
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing, heating systems, or related mechanical trades.
- Skilled handling hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, basic maths for measurements and calculations, and carpentry skills.
- Experience with heavy lifting tasks and commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with system diagnostics and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments while maintaining high safety standards. Pay: £25,998.96-£53,655.76 per year
