Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces in designated areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy, organised, and presentable at all times
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with excellent time management skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
