Breakfast Chef to join its professional catering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys fresh food, early mornings and a great work-life balance, with every weekend off and school holidays free.
�� A role that works around your life
You'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality breakfast service to pupils and staff, working as part of a busy hub kitchen operation serving multiple dining areas.
Your mornings will be varied, hands-on and purposeful, with the opportunity to support wider kitchen production when breakfast service is complete.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing, cooking and presenting a high-quality breakfast offering.
- Producing food for multiple dining areas across the site.
- Taking responsibility for loading and safely transporting hot boxes to neighbouring dining locations.
- Maintaining consistency and quality across all dining rooms.
- Supporting basic preparation for lunch and mid-morning service when time allows.
- Ensuring food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Working closely with the Chef Manager and Sous Chef on ordering and kitchen requirements.
- Assisting with the supervision and cleaning of the kitchen.
- Maintaining exceptional food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards.
- Working flexibly as part of a supportive kitchen team.
- Helping create a positive environment built around resilience, teamwork and kindness.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef with professional kitchen experience who takes pride in producing consistently good food.
You'll need to be organised, able to work at pace and comfortable taking responsibility for your section. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine passion for food and a positive attitude.
Previous experience within a school, hotel, care, contract catering or high-volume kitchen environment would be advantageous, but we're more interested in your skills, attitude and commitment to quality.
