Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Part-Time / Bank Staff to join our vibrant childcare team. This role offers flexible hours to support our nursery’s daily operations and ensure that young children receive high-quality care and early education. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills. Duties
- Support the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development in line with curriculum guidelines
- Assist in supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement daily routines that meet individual needs of children
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
- Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to policies, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining a clean environment
- Support management in maintaining accurate records of children's development, attendance, and incident reports
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices, fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and colleagues
Qualifications
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification or equivalent recognized qualification in early childhood education
- Essential to do one breakfast club - 7.15am to 8.30am
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly on part-time or bank shifts as required
- Valid driving license is desirable for roles involving travel between settings or community activities
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health & safety regulations, and early childhood development principle
- .maximum 2 days - upto 12 hours available or bank staff contract
