Claire at Amber Mace is delighted to be working on behalf of a growing care provider to recruit an experienced Supported Living Manager to oversee supported living services across the Sutton Coldfield and Warwickshire area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced manager to lead multiple person-centred supported living services, ensuring individuals receive the highest standards of care while promoting independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes. You'll play a key role in developing high-quality services and supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.
The Role
As Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of supported living services across the Sutton Coldfield and Warwickshire area. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding, person-centred support while ensuring all services remain fully compliant with CQC regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective day-to-day leadership and operational management across supported living services within your region.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of support workers through supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
- Manage recruitment, staffing levels, rota planning and workforce development across services.
- Complete audits, monitor care records and drive continuous quality improvement.
- Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents and risk assessments in line with best practice.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
- Support referrals, assessments and transitions into services.
- Ensure all services remain fully compliant with CQC standards, legislation and company policies.
- Foster a positive and empowering culture where people are encouraged to make choices, develop life skills and achieve their personal goals.
- Travel between services across Sutton Coldfield and Warwickshire to provide leadership, support and operational oversight.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous management experience within Supported Living or Adult Social Care.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred support.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating staff teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Level 5 Leadership and Management is desirable).
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Sutton Coldfield and Warwickshire area.
