Responsibilities
- Assist in food and meal preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Support the cooking process under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with inventory management by organising supplies and notifying relevant staff of stock levels
- Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner when required
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
