We are seeking a dynamic and creative In-House Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance our online presence across various platforms. This is an in-house Social Media role, combining content creation with digital marketing and creativity to support brand growth and improve market reach.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across multiple social media channels, including text, images, videos, and infographics
- Monitor social media channels for customer engagement, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster community interaction
- Analyse performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and content teams to ensure brand consistency and maximise outreach efforts
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our online presence innovative and competitive
- Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to optimise reach and engagement
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply within digital platforms
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar software
- Analytical skills to interpret data from analytics platforms like Google Analytics or native social media insights
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling techniques
Person Specification Essential
- Basic photography, videography, or editing skills (e.g. Canva, CapCut)
- Experience in social media management or content creation
- Confident using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Understanding of branding and digital engagement strategies
