Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff at The Cissbury Tap. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening and closing procedures
- Provide friendly assistance and answer customer queries to enhance their experience
- Support the team during busy periods, ensuring smooth service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
- Strong serving skills with a focus on excellent customer service
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- A friendly personality and the ability to work well within a team
