The Role
As a Financial Planner, you will manage an established portfolio of clients while developing new business opportunities through referrals, professional introducers and relationship management.
Working alongside our experienced Paraplanners and Administrators, you will deliver high-quality, fully compliant financial planning solutions tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Using a consultative approach, you will build trusted relationships, understand clients' objectives and provide expert independent advice across a broad range of financial planning areas.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationships
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct comprehensive fact-finding meetings to understand clients' financial goals, priorities and circumstances.
- Deliver bespoke financial planning advice that places clients at the centre of every recommendation.
- Carry out regular client reviews and implement ongoing financial planning strategies.
Financial Planning
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with Paraplanners and Administrators to ensure advice reports are accurate, compliant and tailored to client needs.
- Provide advice across pensions, investments, protection, retirement planning and tax-efficient solutions.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to grow your client portfolio through referrals and professional introducers.
- Develop strong relationships with introducers and centres of influence.
- Represent Park Hall Financial Services at networking and industry events where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations, GDPR and internal compliance procedures.
- Maintain accurate client records and management information.
- Keep professional knowledge up to date through ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Maintain your Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and required regulatory qualifications.
About You
You'll be an experienced Financial Planner who is passionate about providing exceptional client outcomes and building trusted, long-term relationships.
You'll have:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum requirement).
- A current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
- 3-5 years' experience providing regulated financial advice within the UK.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative and client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering the highest professional and ethical standards.
Desirable
- Chartered Financial Planner status (CII).
