As an Activity Coordinator, you play a central role in ensuring our residents can lead stimulating and satisfying lives.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Planning and delivering meaningful activities whilst being aware of the residents' interests as well as their physical and cognitive abilities
- Encourage active participation in activities
- Ensure there is a variety in the programme of daily events
- Working closely with care staff and family members in getting to know the residents, their interests, their experience and life stories
- Sharing the best practice and encouraging all staff members to take active interest in providing activities for our residents
- Ideally you will have previous experience in organising activities within a care setting however we are open for applicants that have all the key skills and abilities.

- Creative with a range of practical skills like arts & crafts
- Able to motivate and engage with people
- Able to create an environment that encourages participation and involvement
- Teamwork is also important as you will work closely with all staff members in sharing the best practice approach
