Job Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our project development site. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all relevant regulations. As a Temporary Site Manager, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout the project duration. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise on-site teams, including subcontractors and labour personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to quality standards
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating timelines across multiple trades
- Monitor site safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including resource allocation, material deliveries, and equipment usage
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, providing updates on progress and resolving issues promptly
- Oversee site documentation such as daily reports, safety logs, and progress records to ensure accurate record-keeping
Experience
- Proven management experience in construction or infrastructure projects with a strong background in supervising teams on-site
- Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives and enforce safety standards effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
