Housekeeper, Private Household
Location: Tettenhall, Wolverhampton
Hours: 8-10 hours per week
Pay: £15-£17 per hour, depending on experience

About the role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to help maintain a private home in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.
This is a regular part-time role covering both cleaning and general housekeeping. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a home to a high standard, is organised and thorough, and can work independently and proactively.
The household has one large dog who can sometimes be boisterous, so applicants must be comfortable and confident around dogs.
Responsibilities
The role will include:
* General household cleaning to a high standard
* Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
* Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
* Changing beds and bed linen
* Laundry and clothing care
* Ironing
* Keeping rooms and household areas clean, tidy and organised
* Periodic deeper cleaning
* Keeping an eye on household cleaning supplies and flagging anything that needs replenishing
* Noticing and reporting household maintenance issues
* Other reasonable housekeeping tasks as required
All cleaning equipment and products will be provided.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Thorough with excellent attention to detail
* Organised and proactive
* Comfortable working independently
* Discreet and respectful when working in a private home
* Confident around a large, sometimes boisterous dog
* Able to maintain consistently high standards
Previous professional housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience is preferred.
Applicants must be able to provide at least one satisfactory reference.
Hours and working pattern
The role is approximately 8-10 hours per week.
There is flexibility around how these hours are arranged. They could be worked as:
* one full day per week
* two mornings per week
* two afternoons per week
Exact days and hours can be agreed with the successful candidate.
Pay
£15-£17 per hour, depending on experience.
