Stobo Castle is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cocktail Bar Supervisor to join our award-winning Food & Beverage team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to lead the cocktail bar operation, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the development of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the cocktail bar, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Train, mentor, and develop bar staff to maintain high service standards, product knowledge, and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Prepare and manage weekly staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands.
- Monitor and control bar stock, including ordering, stock rotation, stock takes, and minimising wastage.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared and presented to the highest standards and in line with company specifications.
- Maintain compliance with licensing laws, food safety regulations, and health & safety procedures.
- Support the Food & Beverage management team in achieving sales, cost control, and profitability targets.
- Foster a positive team culture, motivating staff to deliver outstanding service.
About You
- Previous supervisory experience in a busy cocktail bar or high-quality hospitality environment.
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and premium beverages.
- Experience in staff training and coaching.
- Strong organisational skills with experience preparing staff rotas and managing stock control.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
