Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Snagger / Multi-Trade Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of trades and maintenance tasks across a range of properties. Your expertise and experience will ensure that quality workmanship is delivered. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to diverse building and refurbishment projects. A valid driver’s license and experience in on public sector / voids contracts are highly desirable to support your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-trade tasks including basic carpentry, patch painting, and general maintenance type works.
- As the last pair of eyes on a project, after rip out teams, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, and decorators have all completed their works, you must demonstrate a keen eye for detail and high standards to enact the finishing touches.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily activities and report progress or issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Snagger or multi-trade operative within construction or property maintenance environments
- Strong communication skills in English to ensure clear understanding of instructions and safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and working at heights when necessary
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
