Restaurant Supervisor – Calvo Loco Exmouth

Calvo Loco is coming to Exmouth, and we’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at our brand-new tapas bar.
Following the success of our original Exeter restaurant, we’re opening our second Calvo Loco in the heart of Exmouth. We’re all about great Spanish food, brilliant drinks and, most importantly, relaxed, energetic hospitality.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being on the floor, enjoys a busy service and knows how to get the best out of a team.
The role
You’ll work alongside the management team to:
- Lead busy lunch and dinner services
- Support and motivate the FOH team
- Make sure every table receives friendly, efficient service
- Help train and develop new team members
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues confidently
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Support cashing up, stock control and general restaurant operations
- Help create the fun, welcoming atmosphere Calvo Loco is known for
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Team Leader or experienced FOH team member
- Confidence leading a team during busy services
- A genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A calm approach when things get busy
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Knowledge of Spanish food and wine is a bonus, but enthusiasm and personality are more important — we can teach you the rest.
